The Semtextremist

How do you arrived in this undergroud background (Speedcore, Gabber, Techno.…) ?
A friend lent me an old Mokum CD... A liked it, one month later I bought the "Terrordrome 4"... and that was it... I loved it. Then I calmed myself down with a serie of classics "Thunderdome".
Later I met Matthias (the Speedcororist) and Laurent (Laurenticide), with them I began to go to big raves everywhere in Switzerland and in this raves there was a little bit of Gabber and Speedcore... Then we mutually took ourself out of the "commercial scene" to find an harder one... But the real sickness came only when we began to mix...

Your favorite kind(s) of music (to mix) ?
Speedcore, Gabber, Industrial, Cut-Style, Hardtechno, Techno et Electro

Which kind(s) of music did influence you ?
Actually, the kinds of music that I mix really influenced me.

Which artist(s) did influence you ?
Noize Creator who's one of the most diversified artist in this background with Lasse Steen (and his about 20 nicknames). Embolism for his very own styke of Speedcore
The "non-electronic" artist who influenced me the most is Max Cavalera (Soulfly, ex-Sepultura) for the intelligence of what he says and because he says exactly what he think.....

Which Labels did influence you ?
For the Speedcore, Bloody Fist, the label of Nasenbluten, is THE label who influenced me the most, his style is simple and effective, without tricks. Fischkopf for the experimentality of his sound, Suburban Trash for the asymetric side and also Special Force, Surgeon 16, Trakless and many others.

For the Techno side, my first influence was Primate, and then I became harder and more experimental so my influenced changed : UW, ANLX for the Hardtech and Sci-Fi Music Labels (including labels like Drought, Penalty, Tresor, Mercurochrome, New-Tronic...) for the experimental Electro side.

What do you like ?
Peoples who says what they think, to drink and to be drunk, all what is beyond the models fixed by the society.

What do you hate ?
Intolerance, racism, physical violence, weapons, trance, house and all musics only done to make money, peoples who says I'm a nazi just because I shave my head…

Your best party(s) ?
The Fuckparade after-party in the Insel in 1999 and in the Stellwerk in 2000. In Switzerland, that was Odyssey 5 in 2000, the last big rave with some hard music in Switzerland.

Your worse party(s) ?
" Welcome to Hell " in the Hirscheneck in Basel, the owners of the place just thought funny to stop the party and to say : "We don't want fascist here, so no more music !". Everybody had to give his name and address to continue the party... They even called the police...
I was really angry... I'm always asking myself : "Where's is the real intolerance ???"

Where do you buy your vinyls ?
I buy all the hard stuff from Sound Base Music on the net. I buy the techno stuff from Neutronic records or Downtown records in Biel/Bienne. Sometimes I buy some stuff in partys.
